Buzzz
The 7th Elder
Buzz and I went to the same high school, he was older than me so we didn't hang together then.  Buzz is a musician
too...At some point after high school, I came and auditioned for a band that he was in.  (I have only a vague memory of
this).  Many years passed.  I was in The Rainmakers and occasionally we'd do a show in the region where we used the
sound company that Buzz was working for.  He was the on-stage monitor guy...He seemed competent and easy to get
along with...so in 1989 when The Rainmakers were in need of a sound engineer to mix out front, Buzz was the person we
called to do the job.  In time, he bacame quite good at it.  In 1997 (or so) The Rainmakers disbanded indefiniately, and in
1999 The Elders formed.  Again, we called on Buzz to do the job.  Through all the ups and downs over the years, Buzz
has always been there, under-paid and over-worked, but loyal as an old dowg.  Many times we've been in a situation
where we'd show up at an event, the sound company had no idea what they were doing and Buzz literally had to step in
and save the day.

I have rarely seen him in a bad mood and always felt comfortable confiding in him or bouncing ideas off of him because I
know he'll tell the truth and I trust his opinion.  Buzz is among my truest and best friends, and that's why I consider him to
be.....
